A recipient of the UP Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, Dimpy Mishra is an acclaimed theatre/film actor and director. His notable works as an actor include the Sanjay Dutt-starrer Bhoomi, the web series Rangbaaz, and Prakash Jha’s web drama series Aashram.

He has participated in numerous plays at Bhartendu Natya Academy, Lucknow, FTII Pune, and the Indian People’s Theatre Association. He has also directed more than 15 state and national level theatre and cultural festivals along with an international festival. He is the founder of an independent cultural organization, Ranglok Sanskritik Sansthan, Agra, which promotes theatre and art among youth and actively organizes cultural workshops for rural and underprivileged children.
