The B.Sc in Fashion & Design program emphasizes on design thinking, trend forecasting, sustainable fashion practices and market-oriented strategies. This program equips students with the creative vision, technical skills and industry insight needed to redefine the fashion landscape and lead with purpose in a fast-evolving industry.
The program B.Des in Fashion & Design is an industry-aligned 70:30 assessment structure - with 70% focus on practical sessions and live projects, fashion shows and portfolio development and 30% on written assessments, strategic thinking and critical analysis. This program offers a holistic development of both artistic expression and intellectual understanding, preparing students for real-world fashion careers.
Throughout the program, you will engage in interactive lectures, sketching / illustration, hands-on garment construction and exclusive masterclasses 1:1 vocal tutorials by renowned fashion designers and industry leaders.
At AAFT, you’ll learn from a team of accomplished educators and active industry professionals—including renowned animators and industry leaders. Their ongoing involvement in national and international projects keeps the curriculum relevant, future-facing, and aligned with industry trends.
The B.Des in Fashion & Design program also offers valuable exposure through guest lectures, on-campus masterclasses, professional studio visits, and opportunities for expert mentorship and industry consultation, giving you insights that go beyond the classroom.

Through design studios, fashion shows, industry internships, and a final portfolio showcase, you will develop a distinctive design identity rooted in both aesthetics and functionality. You will gain expertise in pattern making, garment construction, textile technology, fashion illustration, CAD (Computer-Aided Design), and fashion marketing—preparing you for exciting careers in fashion design, apparel production, styling, costume design, or fashion retail and entrepreneurship.
