Air-For Arrivals at the Indira Gandhi International
Airport in Delhi
The Institution
has arrangements with a few taxi service operators
at the arrivals terminals to receive its International
Students which is done by the Hospitality
Department. For that, previous notification
of the details and reminder has to be given
by the student.
Otherwise, taxis, buses and auto rickshaws
run by private licensed owners are also available
at the airport arrival terminals round the
clock to take you to the town.
Prepaid taxi services are also available for
all passengers. Counters for Pre Paid taxi
terminals can be approached right after checking
out of the terminal precincts in the arrival
building itself.
Both the taxis and the auto rickshaws are
metered. The drivers are obliged to flag down
the meter before they start. Latest meter
reading charts are available with all the
public transport drivers. Extra charges are
payable for halting, baggage and vehicles
engaged between 11 pm and 5 am (20 percent
for auto rickshaws and 30 percent for taxis).
The International Airport Arrival Terminal
is nearly 34.kilometers. from the Institution's
Main Entry Gates and about 35 minutes drive
in time.
The commonest route suggested to be followed
from the airport to the Institution in Noida
is by the outer ring road of Delhi, crossing
Malai Mandir, IIT Delhi/Khel Gaon, panchsheel/
Malviya Nagar, Greater Kailash/Chittranjan
Park, Nehru Place/Kalka ji, down to Delhi
Mathura Road from the Flyover's second connecting
subway, sarita vihar/kalindi kunj, Delhi/noida
border, with a left cut just before the Taj
Express away highway bringing you at the footsteps
of film city.
Inland Travel For Foreign Students/Guests
India offers many a facilities for tourists'
travel within the country. Special permits
however are required for visiting certain
border areas as notified by the Government
of India from time to time.
The web site of the Ministry of Home Affairs
should be accessed for further guidelines
in this regard, after arrival.
Most of the Domestic Airline Services in the country offer competitive packages for travel within India and can be accessed through the Travel Department of the Institution,
The Domestic Airport in Delhi is situated
close away from the International Airport
and is around 30 kilometers from the Institution.
Similar Taxi/Auto rickshaw services for travel
from this airport too are available from the
arrival lounges.
The Institution
is very well connected by road too to all
of the Delhi's main inter state bus stands.
Backed by excellent national highways and
connectivity with all the major towns by road,
excellent bus services, (including deluxe
and air conditioned buses) are available for
domestic travel by road from the ISBT for
most of the important cities.
The ISBT is about 30 kilometers drive from
the Institution and well catered for by local
transport/taxi and auto rickshaw services
from the campus.
Guide Maps For Mobility Around Delhi/Noida
Students can be made available with guided
maps and both the rail/road routes from the
campus to Delhi and around top East, West,
North, South, Central (including Connaught
Place) and to adjoining urban cities like
Gurgaon, Faridabad and Ghaziabad on demand
after arrival at the Institution precincts
by its Administrative Offices.
For domestic travel,
there are three major railway stations all
almost equally easily accessible from the
film city. India's premier organization, the
Indian Railways manages all these Railway
Stations offering state of art services (super
fast, express, air conditioned and deluxe
coaches) connecting almost every nook and
corner of the country through one of the world's
largest railway network.
Hazzarat Nizamuddin Railway Station is about
11 kilometers from the Institution via the
DND toll bridge (one way) New Delhi Railway
Station, similarly is about 18 kilometers
from the campus with the third major Old Railway
Station being about 28 kilometers, each way.
All these rail heads are excellently connected
and served by 24 hours public and private
transport facilities.

A number of trains both clockwise as well
as anti clockwise run by the Indian Railways
and the newly commissioned Metro Railways
