  1. Television and Radio Broadcasting: History and current perspectives;Television and Radio as a means of mass communication

  2. Ethics for Television and Radio Broadcasting: Freedom of expression  in mass communication; challenges of producing responsive and responsible television and radio programmes.

  3. Television and Radio Genres: Entertainment, information and education in television and radio; classification of television and radio programmes.Such as dramas, soaps, serials, game shows, covering sports, music album & music videos, designing broadcast material for pre-school,school, college and university level students.

  4. Writing for Radio Broadcasting: The techniques of writing for radio broadcasting.

  5. Development Skills for Radio Broadcasting: Structured practicals in the creative use of microphone, handling sound mixing consoles an recorders; application of audio softwares in sound recording;

  6. Production of audio recordings and radio programmes for Radio
    Broadcasting:
    Graded exercises in the production of various type of spoken words and musical programmes for the music industry and broadcasting.

  7. Writing for Television: Technique of screen writing; developing stories;creating characters; writing scenes; screenplays and dialogues; preparing the shooting script; adapting novels for the screen presentation.

Broadcast Management: Financial, human resources, legal, marketing and strategic issues relating to management of radio and television production houses and broadcasting stations; satellite radio and television channels and cable TV networks; effective scheduling of radio and television programmes.
