AAFT - A film and tv school of international standard

The Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT), the premier film and tv school in the Indian sub-continent, is an international center for professional education and advanced training in film, television, media studies and mass communication. Our film and tv school is founded on a singular commitment to helping today's creative young people find and bring to the screen the stories that have meaning in their lives. Click here to know more.

The aim of the AAFT is to give students high-quality, hands-on training by keeping up with the industry trends, using carefully-designed courses and by employing the best teachers and also ensure that our film and tv school students receive personalised attention. Believing that training and skill building are essential in the field of visual media, we at the AAFT film and tv school have been imparting education and training in the art and craft of film making and television presentation since 1993. This academy has been planned as an alternative to formal film and tv school and it conducts short term courses in four areas of specialisation - production/direction & TV journalism, video editing & sound recording, camera & lighting techniques and acting & presentation.

Although students at our film and tv school spend most of their time on the projects, the education and training imparted at AAFT is more than just a craft model. Education and training for various courses at our film and tv school are provided by expert media practitioners supplemented by visiting guest lecturers who are leading exponents of their specialised skills in the practical craft of film and television production. Over the last one decade our film and tv school located at Marwah Studio at Noida, India has trained over 2500 fresh students as well as professionals both from India and 34 countries in Europe, America, Africa and the United States. We have also done pioneering work of generating training material in the form of books and video recordings on the techniques of film and television production.

When you graduate from AAFT film and tv school you leave with a full professional portfolio to show to prospective employers; a qualification which is respected in the industry and the competence and confidence that go with it. So enroll now.
